Non-profit organizations may be eligible for a unique form of tax-exempt financing. That is, the interest income paid to the note-holder is exempt from Federal Income Tax, which results in the borrower paying a lower interest rate. These loan structures are commonly called Private Activity Bonds, or Industrial Revenue Bonds (IRB). Zenith Assets consultants are experts at successfully executing these loans.
Whether or not the project qualifies for IRB, a plethora of options exist for non-profit organizations financing of fixed assets, such as real estate and equipment.
Private schools must meet certain criteria in order to qualify. We will help school operators determine eligibility, and any other potential partnership opportunities for accessing tax-exempt debt.
